An exciting new chapter in Dubai’s sports landscape is unfolding with the upcoming launch of JA Sports & Shooting Club – a world-class sporting destination currently under development through an investment exceeding AED300 million (approximately US$81.67 million).
Scheduled to open in phases starting in late summer 2025, the expansive multi-sport complex will feature top-tier facilities designed to cater to athletes and enthusiasts alike. Highlights include international-standard football and cricket fields, a state-of-the-art indoor shooting range, and integrated cycling and jogging tracks that connect seamlessly with the nearby JA The Resort, a five-star all-inclusive destination comprising three distinct properties: JA Lake View Hotel, JA Beach Hotel, and JA Palm Tree Court.
Built with both elite athletes and active leisure seekers in mind, the JA Sports & Shooting Club aims to become a premier hub for professional training, competitive events, and community engagement. This development will significantly elevate Dubai’s status as a global sports destination, offering unmatched facilities and opportunities for sports enthusiasts from around the world.
With major new developments underway across Palm Jebel Ali and Dubai South, JA Sports & Shooting Club is ideally positioned to serve the growing residential and visitor communities in the area. It is expected to become a vibrant hub for sport, wellbeing, and recreation in Dubai, adding lasting value to the region’s evolving landscape.

Football and Cricket
At the heart of the development will be six floodlit, international-size football pitches, designed to meet the needs of professional teams. Each pitch will feature its own goalkeeping and skills training areas, as well as dedicated home and away training bases. Two of the pitches will include 500-seat stands, making them suitable for hosting matches and events. Players will benefit from dedicated changing rooms and access to an exclusive 800 sqm turf farm, ensuring year-round, high-performance pitch conditions that meet the highest global standards.
For cricket fans, the complex will offer a pristine international-standard oval, complete with professional-grade training nets and dedicated changing facilities. The design includes a grassy bank for casual viewing and a 100-seat stand, balancing spectator accessibility with a relaxed atmosphere. Both the football and cricket facilities are expected to open after the summer this year, making it an exciting time for local sports enthusiasts.
Indoor Shooting Range
A highlight of the new development is a 15,000 sqm indoor shooting facility, the first of its kind in the region. It will feature both 25m and 50m pistol ranges, as well as a 200m multifunctional shotgun and rifle range – making it a pioneering destination for competitive and recreational shooting alike.
The shooting facility is currently targeting an opening in early 2026, with February marked as a tentative milestone. Timelines will remain flexible to accommodate final construction and testing phases. Alongside the ranges, a stylish on-site restaurant will enhance the visitor experience, providing a social and leisure element that encourages longer stays and engagement.
Cycling and Jogging Track Facilities
Promoting health and wellbeing beyond traditional sports, the project also includes dedicated cycling and jogging track facilities that integrate seamlessly with JA Lake View Hotel, JA Beach Hotel, and JA Palm Tree Court. These tracks are designed to offer scenic, accessible jogging routes and serious running paths for all fitness levels, allowing guests to combine wellness activities with the breathtaking surroundings of the area.
