INTERPOL Global Academy Network’s 2025 Report Highlights Rabdan Academy’s Strengthened Role as a Training Partner
Abu Dhabi: The 2025 Annual Report of the INTERPOL Global Academy Network has officially recognized Rabdan Academy as a key training partner, highlighting its expanding influence within a prestigious international network dedicated to law enforcement education.
His Excellency James Anthony Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, emphasized that the report reflects the depth of their strategic partnership with INTERPOL. He noted that this recognition illustrates their mutual commitment to enhancing executive leadership development and bolstering professional competencies within the global law enforcement community.
Morse expressed optimism about further collaboration with INTERPOL, focusing on joint training initiatives, applied research, and academic exchanges. He stated that these efforts aim to enhance institutional resilience and cultivate forward-thinking security leadership capable of addressing complex global challenges.
Training Programs and Academic Integration
As part of this collaboration, 24 students and two faculty members from Rabdan Academy successfully completed specialized training programs offered by the INTERPOL Global Academy by December 2025. This achievement underscores the integration of academic education with practical training within an advanced international framework.
The training programs encompassed critical areas such as countering cyberterrorism, cybercrime investigation, digital forensics, cultural heritage protection, and environmental crime and climate security. These initiatives are designed to enhance the preparedness of national professionals in tackling evolving security challenges.
International Expertise and Academic Contributions
The report also highlighted the involvement of four international experts from the INTERPOL Global Academy Network, who served as external examiners for the Master’s in Policing and Security Leadership program. These experts hailed from Sweden, Colombia, India, and Argentina, further emphasizing the international scope of the academy’s programs.
Rabdan Academy faculty members contributed as Academic Advisors and Capstone Examiners in the INTERPOL Executive Leadership Programme, showcasing the global confidence in the academy’s expertise in developing executive-level law enforcement leadership.
Knowledge Exchange and Institutional Capacity Building
In addition to formal training, Rabdan Academy and INTERPOL engaged in guest lectures and joint academic initiatives throughout 2025. These activities facilitated knowledge exchange and contributed to institutional capacity building, reinforcing the partnership’s evolution from a formal agreement to impactful academic contributions.
The inclusion of Rabdan Academy’s contributions in an official INTERPOL publication marks a significant milestone in the academy’s international engagement. It solidifies its position within the global security education ecosystem, which encompasses safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
Strategic Partnership Development
This milestone builds upon the strategic partnership established between Rabdan Academy and the INTERPOL General Secretariat in February 2025. This agreement laid the groundwork for cooperation in research, training, and knowledge exchange, leading to a sustained and impactful engagement within the Global Academy Network framework.
