GISEC Global Unveils Platform for Cybersecurity and Technology Industries

The Data Security Council of India (DSCI) recently hosted the second edition of the Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange in Dubai, marking a significant step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in the digital security domain. Held in partnership with CIO Klub, this event took place alongside the GISEC Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing key figures from the cybersecurity and technology sectors of both countries.

At the heart of the exchange was the India Pavilion at GISEC, established by DSCI. It showcased over 15 Indian companies presenting cutting-edge solutions in various areas such as threat intelligence, data privacy, application security, Security Operations Centers, and the emerging field of quantum technologies. This initiative aimed to foster partnerships between solution providers, user organizations, and innovators in the Indian cybersecurity ecosystem and their UAE counterparts.

B.G. Krishnan, the Consul (Economic, Trade, Commerce & Education) at the Consulate General of India in Dubai, emphasized the urgency of addressing global cybersecurity challenges. He stated, “The world is at a critical juncture from cybersecurity, privacy, and critical technology perspectives.” His remarks highlighted the rapidly evolving landscape shaped by technological advancements and geopolitical tensions, all of which have profound implications for businesses, society, and essential sectors.

Atul Kumar, the Director of DSCI, reiterated the strategic importance of Indo-UAE cooperation in the realm of digital security. He remarked, “As India and the United Arab Emirates strengthen their strategic partnership, cybersecurity has emerged as a critical area for collaboration.” With both nations digitizing at a rapid pace, Kumar emphasized the urgent need to develop resilient cybersecurity ecosystems that can withstand the challenges posed by complex digital threats.

The Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange served as a critical platform for discussing essential topics such as cyber resilience, leadership development, and technology innovation. DSCI reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing engagement with UAE stakeholders, underlining the importance of advancing cybersecurity cooperation as digital threats become increasingly sophisticated and multifaceted.

Throughout the three days of GISEC Global 2025, India’s dynamic presence and growing engagement with regional cybersecurity ecosystems highlighted its role as a key player in shaping the future of global cyber resilience. The event not only provided a forum for knowledge sharing and strategic discussions but also emphasized the collaborative ethos essential for tackling the urgent challenges presented by the evolving digital landscape.
