How did Inter Miami secure its place to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025?
Inter Miami earned its spot at this esteemed tournament by clinching the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield, confirming its status as the best team throughout the regular season. With a stellar performance during a 34-match campaign, the team broke the all-time MLS record for points in a single season, finishing with an impressive 74 points.
Competition Format
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ will kick off with a group stage composed of eight groups, each containing four teams. Inter Miami was drawn into Group A alongside Palmeiras, FC Porto, and Al Ahly FC. Each team will play in a single-game round-robin format, and the top two teams from each group will progress to the Round of 16, leading into knockout stages up to the final.
