Kalsekar describes Abu Dhabi as a dialogue between its rich heritage and innovative spirit, where the city’s identity is reflected through its architectural language.

Dubai: Journey from Sand to Skyline

Sama Alsulaimi’s monument reflects Dubai’s transformation from a desert landscape to a vibrant urban hub. The design captures the essence of both the Bedouin resilience and the trade that has historically shaped the emirate. With its skyline serving as a bridge between the past and the future, the monument represents the balance of memory and ambition in Dubai’s architectural narrative.

Malak Shabaro presents a monument that intertwines Sharjah’s cultural legacy with its aspirations for the future. Ras Al Khaimah: Dhayah Echo

A project by Zena Nassour, Dhayah Echo, draws inspiration from Ras Al Khaimah’s historical forts and mountainous landscapes. Reimagining the Dhayah Fort in a contemporary context, Nassour’s abstract design reflects themes of resilience and growth, serving as both a tribute to the emirate’s past and a canvas for its future.

Fujairah: Thuraya

Habiba Hassan’s Thuraya captures Fujairah’s unique geographic features—rugged mountains and its coastal identity. Inspired by nature, the monument’s design resembles a nautilus shell, showcasing the forces of the sea and wind while paying homage to the emirate’s rich seafaring traditions.

Umm Al Quwain: Dhikr al-Milh

In her piece, Dana Alhashmi interprets Umm Al Quwain’s delicate coastal ecosystem. Through the use of translucent salt, bronze, and resin, Dhikr al-Milh transforms the region’s fragile landscape into a sculptural representation of memory and renewal. Alhashmi’s design illustrates how identity can be both dynamic and reflective, shaped by the natural world.

Ajman: The Algorithm of the Creek

The design titled The Algorithm of the Creek, created by AI Design Agent under Imad Hanna’s direction, encapsulates Ajman’s essence—its rich history tied to the creek that once served as a critical lifeline for its community.
