A major fire that broke out in a 67-storey residential tower in Dubai Marina late on Friday night was fully contained by Dubai Civil Defence teams in the early hours of Saturday.
The incident led to a rapid and organized emergency response, resulting in the successful evacuation of all 3,820 residents from the building’s 764 flats, with no injuries reported.
The blaze began late on Friday in the upper floors of Tiger Tower, also known as Marina Pinnacle. Flames eventually spread across several levels of the skyscraper, causing significant concern among the residents and emergency responders.
Dubai Civil Defence deployed specialized teams to the scene, working tirelessly through the night to bring the fire under control. These teams were equipped with advanced firefighting equipment and strategies to combat such large-scale incidents.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the health and safety of residents were prioritized throughout the operation, and a full evacuation was executed as a precautionary measure.

Relevant authorities are currently coordinating with the building’s developer to provide temporary accommodation for those affected by the incident. The focus remains on ensuring that displaced residents have access to safe and comfortable living arrangements during this challenging time.
Dubai Civil Defence confirmed that the fire was brought under control approximately six hours after it was first reported. This swift response reflects the rigorous training and preparedness of the emergency services in Dubai.
Despite the fire being contained, smoke remained visible at the site due to ongoing cooling operations. Firefighting teams continue to oversee the scene, implementing full control measures to ensure the site remains safe.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is expected to follow, with authorities looking to determine the factors that led to the outbreak and assess any preventive measures that can be implemented in the future.
