With the establishment of this codeshare agreement, travelers can now easily book flights on the Abu Dhabi-Tunis route. Passengers have the flexibility to secure their tickets under either airline’s code for flights operated by Etihad Airways. Abu Dhabi-Tunis Route Details
The codeshare agreement focuses on Etihad’s three weekly flights on the Abu Dhabi-Tunis route, which commenced on November 1, 2025. These services are operated using Etihad’s modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, which is known for its comfortable arrangements. The aircraft features two First Suites, 14 Business seats, and 144 Economy seats, providing a range of options for different traveler preferences.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO at Etihad Airways, highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating, “Partnering with Tunisair brings Abu Dhabi closer to travelers across North Africa. We’re seeing strong interest from the region in what Abu Dhabi offers—from business opportunities and trade links to tourism and family connections.” This sentiment underscores both airlines’ commitment to enhancing connectivity and accessibility.
