Each vehicle traversing the toll gates is equipped with its unique Salik sticker, which facilitates seamless transactions.
How Does the Salik System Work?
As vehicles pass through any of the toll gates scattered across Dubai, the RFID technology detects the vehicle and scans the Salik tag. The toll fees are automatically deducted from the owner’s prepaid account. During peak hours, which are from 6 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM, the fee is Dh6, while during off-peak hours, it is reduced to Dh4.
