In a recent interview with Khaleej Times during the World Governments Summit in Dubai, CEO Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi revealed the company’s plans to broaden its footprint across the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This expansion is not limited to the ride-hailing platform business but also includes operating taxis and limousines in other emirates.

As of 2023, DTC operates a substantial fleet of over 9,000 vehicles, including 6,000 taxis. Fully automated self-driving taxis have already been deployed in the Jumeirah 1 area as of September 2023. The complete operation of driverless taxi and e-hail services will position Dubai as the first city in the world to commercially operate Cruise self-driving vehicles outside the United States.
