Running from November 18-20, 2025, IBTM World brought together industry leaders from around the globe. Dubai’s delegation, comprising 32 industry partners, took center stage, showcasing the city’s robust business-ready ecosystem. Key participants included well-known names such as Emirates, Expo City Dubai, and Coca-Cola Arena, all representing Dubai’s commitment to enhancing global collaboration and establishing itself as a favored hub for business events.

DBE’s successful engagement at IBTM World comes after an impressive year for the MICE sector in Dubai. According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), the city earned the top rank globally for the highest number of attendees per association meeting. Additionally, it led the Middle East region in the quantity of meetings hosted, emphasizing Dubai’s ongoing investments in its business events infrastructure. The emirate’s strategic focus makes it an attractive option for international organizations and corporate gatherings.

This growth is further mirrored in Dubai’s overall tourism performance, which experienced a surge in international overnight visitors. In the first nine months of 2025, the emirate welcomed 13.95 million visitors, indicating a 5% year-on-year increase. With Dubai International Airport (DXB) continuing to be the busiest airport globally, the synergy between leisure and business tourism is increasingly apparent, solidifying Dubai’s place as a preferred destination for both MICE and leisure travelers.
