Surge in Delegate Attendance
The events lined up for 2025 are set to draw approximately 272,262 delegates to Dubai by 2029, signifying a substantial 29% rise compared to the 209,545 attendees confirmed in 2024. This influx of delegates will have a measurable impact on Dubai’s meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sectors, which play a crucial role in the city’s broader travel and tourism framework. Record-Breaking Event Hosting
In 2025, Dubai hosted 481 business events backed by DBE, up from 429 the previous year—a growth of 9%. The city also submitted 747 bids in 2025, marking an 11% rise from 669 in 2024, a sign of growing confidence among event planners and organizers.

Several significant congresses have already been secured for the coming years, such as the World Engineers Congress 2027, expected to attract 3,000 delegates, and the World Ophthalmology Congress 2028, which anticipates hosting 12,000 attendees.
