DHG Properties has commenced the handover of Helvetia Residences, a $200 million residential project located in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC). This development, which features 430 homes across 25 floors, marks the inaugural delivery of DHG’s Helvetia brand in the UAE and reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the region.
Completed within two years, Helvetia Residences offers a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, encompassing over 73,000 square meters of built-up area. The handover event was attended by government officials, brokers, and business partners, showcasing the completed development and its amenities.
Significance of the Handover
The handover of Helvetia Residences comes at a time when Dubai’s residential market is experiencing significant growth. According to the Dubai Land Department, 104 real estate projects were completed in the first half of the year, contributing more than AED 111 billion in investments and adding 24,537 units to the market. This trend underscores the ongoing demand for residential properties in the emirate.
Blagoje Antic, Chairman, CEO, and Founder of DHG, expressed pride in the completion of the project, stating, “Today as we deliver Helvetia Residences, I see a vision brought to life.” He emphasized the company’s commitment to bringing Swiss development standards to the UAE, enhancing the experience for homeowners and investors alike.
Project Features and Amenities
Helvetia Residences is designed to cater to contemporary lifestyles, featuring landscaped outdoor areas and a variety of amenities. Residents will have access to a resort-style swimming pool, a children’s play area, a Technogym-equipped fitness center, a jogging track, and a rooftop padel court. The residences are equipped with smart home technology and premium materials, aligning with the design principles of DHG’s Helvetia brand.
Milos Antic, Vice Chairman of DHG, highlighted JVC’s established residential profile as a key factor in selecting the location for their first UAE development. He noted, “JVC has developed into one of Dubai’s most established residential communities, and that was an important factor in choosing it as the location of our first UAE development.”
Future Plans and Community Management
As part of its post-handover strategy, DHG has launched DHG Property Management, which offers a comprehensive suite of ownership services, including real estate advisory, long-term leasing, short-term rentals, and resale. This initiative aims to ensure that residents continue to receive high-quality service beyond the handover phase.
The handover of Helvetia Residences signifies a pivotal moment in DHG’s expansion within the UAE, transitioning from establishing its market presence to delivering and managing completed residential communities. The company is currently developing two additional projects in Dubai and plans to further expand its portfolio, focusing on location, construction quality, and the long-term value of its developments.
