Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026 Boosts Visitor Turnout with Massive Discounts and 700 Prizes
Sharjah: The 2026 edition of the Sharjah Summer Promotions has seen a remarkable increase in visitor turnout since its launch on July 1, spanning various regions and cities within the emirate. This retail campaign, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), is generating significant consumer interest with its promotional offers, which will continue until September 15, 2026.
The campaign benefits from strategic partnerships with government entities, private sector institutions, and key stakeholders. It features extensive discounts and exclusive promotions on a wide array of products from leading local and international brands available in Sharjah’s shopping malls, retail centers, and commercial outlets.
Collaborative Efforts and Diverse Offerings
The Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026 program is executed in collaboration with over 55 public and private sector partners, offering more than 60 curated tourism packages and experiences tailored to various visitor segments. Additionally, shoppers and visitors have the chance to win over 700 prizes throughout the campaign.
This year’s initiative marks a significant milestone with broad participation from hotel establishments, major shopping malls, retail outlets, and tourism and entertainment destinations across the emirate. The summer season will run for a record 114 consecutive days for the first time. Hospitality offers commenced early on May 25, featuring competitive accommodation and hospitality discounts, followed by extensive retail promotions that are currently driving consumer activity.
The promotions include discounts of up to 75% on various products, such as fashion, fragrances, accessories, consumer electronics, and home furnishings. Special offers from restaurants, cafes, and hotels are also available at competitive rates.
To further bolster the retail sector, participating businesses benefit from streamlined promotional permits, valid for three consecutive months. This initiative allows retailers to expand marketing campaigns, stimulate consumer spending, and enhance economic activity across the emirate.
Enhancing Visitor Experience with Technology
H.E. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the SCTDA, stated that the 2026 Sharjah Summer Promotions is part of efforts to deliver an integrated summer tourism season. This initiative showcases the emirate’s diverse leisure and tourism assets while enhancing its competitiveness as a family-friendly destination for international visitors.
The program has been meticulously curated to leverage Sharjah’s unique blend of urban, coastal, and desert attractions. It includes a comprehensive portfolio of events and promotional offers designed to appeal to a wide range of age groups and visitor interests. Al Midfa emphasized that the SCTDA continues to enhance the visitor experience by integrating digital solutions and smart technologies, including a mobile application featuring augmented reality (AR) and electronic prize draws.
The extension of the Sharjah Summer Promotions through mid-September, following the early launch of hospitality promotions, reflects the SCTDA’s strategic vision of sustaining tourism and economic activity throughout the summer.
Support for the Retail Sector
H.E. Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, highlighted the organization’s commitment to the sustainable growth of the retail sector. This year, SCCI introduced practical business support initiatives aimed at strengthening commercial activity. These initiatives include flexible promotional permit procedures that enable retailers to offer more compelling consumer deals throughout the summer.
Al-Awadi noted that these measures directly stimulate retail sales across Sharjah’s markets and shopping centers. They also provide small and medium-sized enterprises with greater opportunities to expand their customer base during the peak summer trading period. He added that the Sharjah Summer Promotions contribute to increased tourism spending and enhance the competitiveness of Sharjah’s trade and retail sectors, reinforcing SCCI’s commitment to empowering the business community.
Prize Draws and Customer Engagement
This year’s Sharjah Summer Promotions features 700 valuable prizes to be distributed through five major digital prize draws, starting on July 18. The first raffle will take place at Mega Mall, followed by draws at Sahara Centre on August 1, Sharjah Central Mall on August 15, and Rahmania Mall on August 29. The campaign will conclude with a grand final draw at 06 Mall on September 15.
The prize pool includes 30 gold bars for 30 winners, along with premium shopping vouchers and retail gifts from participating shopping centers for an additional 20 winners. Customers can enter by shopping at participating outlets or by registering for electronic prize draws through the mobile application.
Participating shopping centers will also provide instant rewards, shopping vouchers, and promotional incentives throughout the campaign, enhancing customer engagement and retail spending.
Family-Friendly Activities and Attractions
The 2026 Sharjah Summer Promotions offer residents and visitors the opportunity to explore some of the emirate’s leading tourist attractions. Highlights include Al Noor Island, which combines nature, art, and cultural experiences; Pearls Kingdom Waterpark, which provides family-oriented leisure activities; and Sharjah Tourism City, featuring a diverse range of visitor attractions. The program also includes Mleiha National Park, where visitors can explore desert landscapes and heritage sites.
The campaign emphasizes attractive waterfront destinations such as Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn, and Kalba on the eastern coast, along with the Fili Heritage Souq and the Back-to-School Campaign among various promotional initiatives.
Digital Engagement and Information Access
This year’s edition features the activation of the Sharjah Summer Promotions mobile application, allowing shoppers and visitors to seamlessly participate in electronic prize draws and access comprehensive information on events and activities. The campaign enhances customer engagement by enabling the mascot “Shamsa” to interact with visitors in real time, providing a more personalized experience.
The Organizing Committee has also launched a comprehensive digital platform through the campaign’s official website, providing real-time access to top offers, daily events, discounts, and hotel packages. This platform enables shoppers to enter digital prize draws and compete for valuable prizes by making purchases at participating shopping centers or booking accommodations through the dedicated online portal.
