Dubai, UAE: Hudson & Rye, the UAE’s first genuine New York-style deli, is set to open its doors on June 30, 2026, at the ground floor of Tower 3 in DIFC Square. This new establishment aims to bring the iconic deli culture of New York City to Dubai’s bustling financial district, enhancing the culinary landscape of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The opening of Hudson & Rye marks a significant development in Dubai’s dining scene. The deli will offer a range of classic dishes that have defined New York’s delicatessen culture for generations. The venue is designed to be open seven days a week, providing a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors.
The name Hudson & Rye pays homage to the Hudson River and rye bread, essential components of a traditional deli sandwich. The menu will feature beloved staples such as classic Reubens, tuna melts, and cheeseburgers, alongside sides like pickles, potato pancakes, and onion rings. Desserts will evoke nostalgia with options like black and white cookies and New York-style cheesecake.

The deli is spearheaded by entrepreneurs Emma Zabinsky Csillag and Daniel Ross-Leutwyler, also known as Chef Dan, who bring a wealth of experience and passion for authentic New York cuisine. Chef Dan, who has over 20 years of culinary experience, expressed his excitement about filling a gap in the Dubai market. Hudson & Rye will operate Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The deli will also offer delivery services through platforms like Careem, Deliveroo, and Talabat, along with in-house delivery and catering options starting in July.
