ATERMES Strengthens Global Defence with AI-Driven Solutions and New MRO Division at Eurosatory 2026

In a pivotal development for the global defence sector, ATERMES, a leading French firm specializing in advanced surveillance and security technologies, has confirmed its participation in Eurosatory 2026, set to take place from June 15 to 19 in Paris, France. This event will provide ATERMES with a crucial platform to unveil its innovative solutions that blend high-speed automation with strategic human oversight, addressing modern operational challenges faced by defence forces worldwide.

Showcasing Advanced Solutions

A key highlight of ATERMES’ exhibition will be the launch of ALTORE, a fully integrated counter-Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) aimed at neutralizing the growing threat from hostile drones. ALTORE employs a comprehensive approach to detection, identification, and neutralization, equipping field commanders with a robust rapid-response capability against intricate aerial threats. The system’s effectiveness is further enhanced through collaborations with strategic industrial partners, establishing ALTORE as an essential asset in contemporary defence operations.

In addition to ALTORE, ATERMES will showcase SURICATE, its flagship AI-driven surveillance system, which has reached full industrial manufacturing capacity. Following successful deployments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, SURICATE has garnered significant international interest. High-level live demonstrations are scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, both locally and at ATERMES’ facility in France. Furthermore, the BARIER tactical perimeter defence solution, featuring deployable networked border control beacons, complements ATERMES’ protective ecosystem, ensuring continuous situational awareness in challenging environments.

Launch of the MRO Division

In a strategic effort to enhance its global footprint, ATERMES is launching a dedicated Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) division. This new department is designed to provide comprehensive lifecycle support and maintenance for deployed systems, drawing on decades of collaboration with tier-one defence primes as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The MRO division aims to optimize asset lifecycles and reduce downtime, thereby improving long-term operational readiness for frontline forces.

ATERMES has established a solid industrial cooperation framework, manufacturing critical systems and components for major players in the defence industry. This strategic business line is becoming an increasingly important revenue source, reflecting ATERMES’ recognized expertise and reliability within complex defence supply chains.

The Role of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is central to ATERMES’ technological strategy, driving innovations in cognitive defence. Each solution utilizes advanced algorithms for threat detection and data synthesis while maintaining essential human flexibility for mission oversight and intervention. ATERMES employs a collaborative, customer-centric approach, integrating end-user operational realities into its research and development processes. This focus enables the company to co-develop tailored architectures that perform effectively in real combat scenarios.

Lionel Thomas, CEO of ATERMES, highlighted the significance of collaboration in fostering innovation. He stated that the company’s participation in Eurosatory 2026 underscores its commitment to developing intelligent, AI-driven defence systems capable of addressing evolving threats. As ATERMES expands its operations across the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent, the company aims to empower international partners with enhanced visibility, tactical precision, and operational resilience in a complex global security landscape.

Future Directions

ATERMES is committed to shaping the future of global defence technology through continuous advancements in surveillance, protection, and networked defence capabilities. The company invites global defence stakeholders and military professionals to engage with its leadership and experience live demonstrations of its mission-ready technologies at the ATERMES pavilion during Eurosatory.

Visitors can find the ATERMES team at stand number B31, Hall 4 during the event.
