Sharjah Chamber Youth Council Strengthens Young Talent’s Role in Future Manufacturing Initiatives
Sharjah: The Youth Council of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI Youth Council) convened a panel discussion focused on empowering young national talent to shape the future of manufacturing. This event, themed “Sharjah Youth Towards Manufacturing… From Creativity to Production,” aimed to explore pathways for transforming innovative ideas into sustainable industrial ventures that align with the UAE’s National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.
The session took place during the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026 exhibition at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, where the Sharjah Chamber showcased its involvement. Notable attendees included H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Dr. Mariam Bin Haddah Al Suwaidi, President of Sharjah Youth Council, along with various government officials and young entrepreneurs.
Engaging Young Entrepreneurs
Moderated by Aisha Saleh, Chairperson of the SCCI Youth Council, the panel featured insights from Dr. Khalid Al Ali, a member of the Sharjah Youth Council; Maha Mansour Al Zarouni, representing the Chamber; and jewellery designer Shamma Mohammed Al Falasi. The speakers shared their experiences within the manufacturing sector, highlighting Sharjah’s flexible regulatory environment and competitive incentives that foster a supportive atmosphere for young entrepreneurs to develop high-value industrial projects.
In her opening remarks, Aisha Saleh emphasized the necessity of merging creative thinking with youth-driven production capabilities. She outlined various initiatives spearheaded by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at enhancing youth participation in the industrial sector.
