Airport International Group Foundation Strengthens Community Empowerment with Launch of Seventh Hirfati Training Cohort
Amman, Jordan – 26 April 2026 — The Airport International Group Foundation (AIGF) has entered into a partnership with Pioneers for Training and Development, designating them as the implementing NGO for the Hirfati Training Center in Al-Jizah. This agreement was formalized by AIGF Chairman Omar M. Masri and Pioneers Founder Sulieman Alsukkar during a signing ceremony at Queen Alia International Airport, attended by AIG board members. This initiative marks the commencement of the program’s seventh cohort, continuing a legacy of empowering local youth and women.
Commitment to Transparency and Impact
The selection of Pioneers was the result of a structured and competitive evaluation process, reflecting AIGF’s dedication to transparency and effective corporate social responsibility (CSR). AIGF stands as the first foundation of its kind in the Middle East established by an airport operator, serving as a model for integrating CSR initiatives within a unified framework.
The partnership aims to leverage Pioneers’ local expertise to enhance community-based vocational training and economic empowerment in Al-Jizah.
Diverse Training Opportunities
The Hirfati Center has celebrated 694 graduates to date. The upcoming cohort will focus on individuals aged 18–35, offering 11 training tracks that encompass vocational skills such as Hybrid Car Maintenance, Fashion Design and Tailoring, Hair Dressing, and Barbering. Educational courses will also be available in English, AI in Business, Microsoft Outlook Communications, Custom Clearance, and Data Entry. Additionally, the programs will integrate essential life skills and employability training to ensure participants are prepared for the job market.
