Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) are currently open and operational, despite ongoing disruptions affecting various airlines. Emirates has announced a reduced schedule, serving over 110 destinations, with intentions to resume full operations shortly. Passengers transiting through Dubai must have confirmed connecting flights to be accepted.

Airline Operations and Updates

Emirates is currently operating a limited schedule, emphasizing the need for passengers to check their flight status within one hour of departure. For booking assistance, travelers are directed to use the airline’s official support channels and are advised against sharing booking details publicly.

Flydubai is also operating a reduced schedule across its network. Passengers who booked flights between February 28 and March 31 are permitted to rebook to the same destination within 30 days without incurring penalties. Travelers are encouraged to visit flydubai’s website for the latest updates on flight status.

Etihad Airways has released an updated flight schedule valid through March 16. Tickets issued on or before February 28 for travel up to March 21 can be rebooked without charge on flights until May 15. Refund requests for flights until March 21 can be submitted online or through travel agents.

Air Arabia is operating limited flights from Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah to select destinations until March 22, including cities such as Vienna, Cairo, and Nairobi. Passengers whose flights were canceled may opt for a free date change within 30 days, a full credit voucher, or a complete refund.

Air Canada has canceled its Toronto-Dubai flights until at least May 1 but is increasing capacity on its Delhi route to provide alternative connections to Canada.

Additional Airline Cancellations

Virgin Atlantic has suspended its Dubai service for the remainder of the winter season, which extends through March 28. British Airways has canceled all flights to Dubai, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, and Tel Aviv until the end of March, with no official date for resumption. Services to Abu Dhabi are also suspended until later this year.

Oman Air has canceled flights to and from several destinations, including Dubai, through March 22. Air France has suspended all flights to and from Dubai through March 14, with the scheduled return flight on March 15 also canceled. Affected passengers have been notified and may postpone or cancel their travel without charge.

China Southern Airlines resumed selected routes from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Dubai from March 8 through March 11, but no further updates have been provided regarding flights beyond those dates.

Qatar Airways continues to suspend regular commercial operations due to the closure of Qatari airspace. However, a limited schedule is in place to assist affected travelers. Passengers with confirmed bookings between February 28 and March 28 may make two complimentary date changes or request a refund for the unused ticket value.

The Lufthansa Group has canceled all scheduled flights to and from Dubai through March 15. Passengers holding Lufthansa tickets issued on or before March 1 for travel between March 16 and March 26 may request refunds.

KLM has canceled all flights to Dubai through March 28, allowing affected passengers to rebook free of charge or request refunds via their website.

Other Airlines and Regional Updates

United Airlines has announced that passengers who purchased tickets on or before February 28 for travel between March 8 and April 19 may reschedule without incurring fees. Passengers who choose to cancel entirely are eligible for a full refund.

Air India and Air India Express are operating 80 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the region, including services from Delhi and Mumbai. IndiGo has canceled 97 flights due to airspace restrictions and is operating a limited schedule to select Middle Eastern destinations.

Finnair has canceled all flights to Dubai through March 29, while Norwegian has passed its cancellation deadline and travelers are advised to check directly with the airline for updates. Cathay Pacific has also suspended all flights to Dubai through the end of March.

Philippine Airlines has suspended its Manila to Dubai route through March 16, with affected passengers able to rebook or request refunds via the airline’s website. Singapore Airlines has canceled flights to Dubai through March 15.

Turkish Airlines, along with AJet, Pegasus, and SunExpress, has seen cancellations through March 13, and travelers should verify with each carrier for confirmed resumption status.

Airspace and Passenger Access

UAE airspace remains partially open, with flights operating through restricted corridors amid ongoing active air defense engagement. Passenger access to the airports is limited to those with confirmed bookings. Travelers are advised not to proceed to the airport without direct confirmation from their airline regarding their flight status.
