Etihad Airways Resumes Limited Flight Schedule

Etihad Airways has announced the resumption of a limited commercial flight schedule starting March 6, 2026. This revival will facilitate operations between Abu Dhabi and several key international destinations, reflecting the airline’s response to evolving safety assessments.

Accommodation for Passengers

The airline confirmed that passengers with existing bookings will be prioritized and accommodated on the newly resumed services at the earliest opportunity. Additionally, tickets for the reactivated routes can be purchased directly through the Etihad Airways website.

Travel Advisory for Passengers

Travelers have been advised to refrain from heading to the airport unless they have received direct communication from the airline or possess a confirmed reservation for one of the scheduled flights. This approach is aimed at ensuring a streamlined travel experience and minimizing any inconvenience.

Coordination with Authorities

The decision to resume flights has been made in close collaboration with relevant authorities, leveraging extensive safety and security assessments. Etihad Airways has emphasized its commitment to ongoing monitoring of the situation, stating that operations will continue only when all safety protocols are fully satisfied.

Scheduled Destinations

From March 6 to March 19, the following destinations will be available for travel to and from Abu Dhabi: Ahmedabad, Bangkok, Bengaluru, Cairo, Colombo, Delhi, Frankfurt, Hanoi, Hyderabad, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London (Heathrow), Madrid, Malé, Milan (Malpensa), Moscow (Sheremetyevo), Mumbai, New York (JFK), Paris, Phuket, Riyadh, Rome, Seoul (Incheon), Toronto, and Zurich.

Operational Considerations

It is important to note that all services remain dependent on operational approvals and may be adjusted in response to changing regional airspace conditions. Furthermore, all other scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi remain suspended for the time being, reflecting the airline’s cautious approach amid ongoing evaluations.

For continued updates regarding flight schedules and operational changes, passengers are encouraged to stay informed through official airline channels.
