Peter Sieber Set to Retire from HIMA Group in 2025
Peter Sieber, a distinguished leader at HIMA Group, is gearing up for retirement on December 31, 2025, marking the end of an impactful twelve-year career with the company. However, he will remain engaged in an advisory role, ensuring that his extensive knowledge continues to benefit the organization.

In his most recent position as Head of Strategic Marketing, Sieber set the direction for the company’s marketing efforts, focusing on the needs of a rapidly evolving market. Prior to this role, he managed international sales and represented the company in various standards initiatives, particularly increasing HIMA’s influence in China. Under his guidance, HIMA solidified its presence in the Chinese market, successfully scaling local business operations.

As part of HIMA’s planned succession efforts, Sergej Arent will take on a new role overseeing the Customer Solutions Center (CSC). This includes key divisions such as Applications, the HIMA Academy, HIMA Consulting, and the newly created Solutions Management sectors: Turbo-Machinery Control (TMC), Safety Lifecycle Digitalization (SLD), and Pipeline Leak Detection Systems (LDS).
Ivo Hanspach will also step up, adding to his responsibilities as Head of Product Management by taking charge of HIMA’s norms and standards activities.
