She Runs 2025: A celebration of Empowerment for Women and Girls

DUBAI — An Inspiring Event Comes Back Stronger

The UAE is gearing up for a remarkable event dedicated to women and girls with the return of She Runs 2025. Slated for November 9 at Expo City Dubai, this empowering initiative, backed by the Dubai Sports Council and organized by Plan b Group, aims to create a vibrant atmosphere where movement, community, and purpose collide.

Redefining the Running Experience

Entering its 12th year, She Runs continues to transform the traditional concept of a running event. In partnership with the Dubai Fitness Challenge, it has come to symbolize more than just a race; it serves as a shared journey toward health, unity, and meaningful interaction. Participants can choose from several distances, including 1K, 5K, and 10K, along with special categories like the Girls’ Run and a route tailored for People of Determination. This inclusive approach ensures that every woman, regardless of their background, feels welcomed and represented.

Celebrating Champions of Change

This year, She Runs introduces the She Runs Community Champions—a new initiative honoring six remarkable women and girls who exemplify resilience and motivation. Champions Sanjana Karia, Dr. Shefali Verma, Lisa Campbell, Ava Hall, Laila Labib, and Atiqa Asif Mir will take center stage during Dubai Active’s Industry Talks, Youth Programmes, and Studio Sessions. They aim to share their unique stories, empowering others to embark on their own journeys and amplifying female voices in sports and leadership.

Strengthening Community Partnerships

The growth of She Runs also reflects a broader community commitment. Dubai Active joins the initiative as the Pre-Event Run Prep Partner, linking the event with one of the region’s largest wellness platforms. The gathering boasts an impressive lineup of partners that include returning supporters like Expo City Dubai, ASICS, Medcare Hospitals and Medical Centres, along with new contributors such as Cheval Maison, FitRepublik, and Lovin Dubai.

These partners are united by a common purpose: to uplift, empower, and build stronger communities through the transformative power of sports and sisterhood. Their collaborative effort highlights the importance of creating inclusive spaces where women can thrive.

The Significance of She Runs Today

She Runs isn’t merely a physical event; it represents a movement advocating for health, wellness, and empowerment among women and girls. As participants gather at Expo City Dubai, they’ll not only engage in fitness but also connect with like-minded individuals, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support. The initiative brings forth an environment where stories of strength and determination can flourish.

The ongoing support from organizations like the Dubai Sports Council underlines the importance of such initiatives in fostering a sustainable community spirit. By championing diversity and inclusivity, She Runs sets a powerful example for future generations, showing that together we can overcome challenges and achieve collective goals.

As She Runs 2025 approaches, anticipation builds, promising an inspiring experience for all involved. It’s not just about the miles run; it’s about the lives touched, the relationships forged, and the community built—one stride at a time.
