His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, officially inaugurated WETEX 2025. He highlighted that the exhibition is a reflection of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to lead in the transition to a green economy, thanks to the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.
Sheikh Ahmed emphasized that Dubai has become a strategic center for hosting international events focused on sustainability and innovation. WETEX serves as a pivotal platform for showcasing cutting-edge solutions in energy, water, and environmental technology, aligning with the UAE’s ambitious Net Zero by 2050 initiative.

This year’s exhibition features over 3,100 companies from 65 countries, underscoring Dubai’s role as a key player in global sustainability efforts. The event runs from September 30 to October 2, 2025, and aims to foster public-private partnerships while attracting investments in sustainable technologies.
