Leading the charge is the formidable Oklahoma, the highest seed remaining, vying for an unprecedented fifth consecutive title.

In the opening games, the competition kicked off with a bang:
Game 1: No. 6 Texas staked its claim early by defeating No. 3 Florida, showcasing a solid performance with a score of 3-0.
Game 2: Following suit, No. 2 Oklahoma faced off against No. 7 Tennessee and emerged victorious with a close score of 4-3, thanks to a walk-off homer that sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Game 3: In yet another thrilling encounter, No. 12 Texas Tech edged out Ole Miss with a narrow 1-0 score, earning their first WCWS victory.
Game 4: No. 9 UCLA found success against No. 16 Oregon, winning 4-2 in a well-contested match.

Game 5: Tennessee 11, Florida 3 (F/5) – Florida faced elimination in a game that highlighted Tennessee’s hitting power.
